Any furniture, family pictures and artwork that comfortably fits into your new setting, along with many other items that will be covered during our initial consultation.
We encourage the family to give any pieces of furniture, artwork or kitchenware to family and friends. Any other items like books, furniture or house wares and clothing will be donated to the appropriate charities unless the client has a special one of their choosing.
We have the alternative to place what furniture and housewares that have not been donated and are sellable to be put into our
consignment store to help offset the cost of moving.
During our initial consultation, we review a preliminary floor plan for the new location. We help our clients understand which of their beloved possessions will fit comfortably in the new location. We take into consideration which pieces are treasured and which are better to donate.
We have a list of charities where items can be donated, unless the client has a strong allegiance to a particular charity.
We have a list of professionals that we work with that will help the client and their family get their home ready for sale.
We have a list of Realtors that we can suggest to the client and their family if they are unable to find a Realtor on their own.
We work with a bonded and insured moving company that will take the utmost care in moving your beloved possessions to your new location.
We have many clients that have family out of town. We can coordinate any items that need to be shipped to out of town locations and coordinate any utilities that need to be shut off or transferred to the new location.
Our employees will be happy to take our client to any appointments that pertain to the move to help make the transition easier.
We only recommend professionals that we have worked with over the past 2 years. These are people that we have used for our own families.
